I've been visiting with Canadian friends, Sam & Linda Gradwell. At this RV Park their pools and hot tubs are fed by underground hot springs. The water is fantastic and no chlorine is used since the water is continually being replaced. This has been a really nice change of pace for me. The first few days were cold and windy but made up for it with some pretty sunsets
Today, Sam, Linda & I did the tourist thing and visited the Cabot Pueblo Museum. Here is a link if you would like more information: http://www.cabotsmuseum.org/ One of the things I found most interesting was how Cabot Yerxa pretty much built this structure from things he scavenged. Many of the windows were made from window fragments that he secured in place with pieces of wood creating a unique window similar to a stained glass window only all the glass pieces were clear. He threw away nothing. Instead, he used it in his construction. The only thing that was bought new was a bathtub for his 2nd wife. While Cabot Yerxa made his living for most of his life as a merchant, he was quite talented as an artist. While no pictures were allowed to be taken inside, there were plenty of cool things to take pictures on the outside.
Also located on the property was one of Pete Toth's Whispering Giants which are located in all 50 states and several provinces of Canada. Here is a link to learn more about these sculptures. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trail_of_the_Whispering_Giants
